Summary Global financial institution seeks a bilingual Japanese GAPP accounting executive 
Responsibilities
  • Perform profit loss analysis of the branch monthly and quarterly.
  • Assist group manager in executing business plan, including authorities examination, internal audits and implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Prepare various term-end reports for Head Office.
  • Gather and prepare data required for Group missions.
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures to enhance internal control of Group’s functions.
  • Provide group’s members with guidance and support regarding accounting and system issues.
  • Assist upper management with planning and developing group assignment; train staff when necessary.
  • Other duties, as assigned by management.
Skills Required
  • Ten years bank accounting knowledge utilizing GAPP.  Knowledge of Japanese GAPP preferred.
  • Familiarity with system design, data organization.
  • Five years regulatory reporting experience preferred.
  • Three to five years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Japanese/English bilingual skills (speaking and writing).
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and Word.
