Summary |
The Sr Manager, Strategic Marketing
Analysis will be an important member of the company's marketing/analysis
team. He/she will be a key marketing interface and "go to" person. The
successful individual will be able to compile and analyze data (across
sources) and deliver relevant quantitative interpretations,
reports, recommendations and strategies to his/her marketing counterparts
and the management team. He/she will use metrics to "tell a story"
that successfully depicts, predicts and reconciles business scenarios,
trends, opportunities and challenges. |
Responsibilities |

Work with customer acquisition team to
optimize campaigns, offers and landing pages based on detailed analysis
of costs, click rates, conversion rates and customer quality

Gain strong knowledge of various data
sources and make suggestions to optimize reporting and operational efficiencies

Create ad-hoc reports and analyses using
SQL and Excel based on loosely defined business questions

Track and analyze the performance of
customer retention programs for multiple customer segments

Work with customer retention team to
develop new retention programs that will drive improvements in lifetime
value

Track and analyze content usage by the
the membership base

Track and analyze user behavior on the
website
-
Make recommendations to senior management
on how to improve performance and maximize marketing profitability

Create templates and automation tools
for re-occurring reports and analysis to increase the efficiency of the
department

Work closely with the VP to manage and
develop the Marketing Analytics team

Required |
-
4-5+ years of marketing/analysis experience
in a direct-to-consumer environment. Content based and/or online analytic
experience is desired
-
Proven analytical and quantitative skills
including a strong understanding of online marketing metrics, data sources,
database mining, etc.

Previous experience in analyzing new
customer acquisition, retention, lifetime value, and trends
-
Ability to create ad hoc spreadsheets
and statistical graphs
-
Extensive hands-on interaction with computer
systems, database applications, and analytical tools. Will include advanced
skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL

BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related
field
-
Strong written and verbal communication
skills with individuals at both peer and management levels. Includes the
ability to communicate highly technical information in an understandable
and actionable format

Ability to thrive in an accountable,
highly entrepreneurial, dynamic and hands-on environment

Ability to succeed in a fast paced, changing
environment that requires the ability to "multi-task" and implement high
priority initiatives

Strategic acumen coupled with a high
attention to detail and the ability to audit his/her own work for accuracy
and quality

Description
The
Sales Development Director is responsible for conceiving and developing
creative marketing solutions that leverage the full breadth of the firm's
mobile, online and social media platforms to help the firm achieve its
overall revenue goals. Clients are major brands, advertising agencies
and large-sized businesses.
This
role requires a self-starter with high initiative, who can think creatively
and strategically, can work collaboratively as a team player, and has very
strong presentation, copy, and interpersonal skills. We are looking
for someone who is highly detail oriented, can thrive in a deadline-driven,
face-paced environment and has familiarity with online advertising platforms
and executions.
The
ability to make responses to RFP's flow well, look great and address the
creative needs of Automotive, CPG, Electronics, Gaming, Entertainment and
all the many businesses that the company presents to once their RFP's are
received.

Experience
with conceptualizing integrated ideas and writing proposals and strong
