Position Director National Online Advertising Sales
Compensation to $350,000 + 
Location New York City - NY, USA - Rockefeller Center
Summary U.S. based global media and entertainment conglomerate seeks an experienced online sales executive with national online advertising sales management experience to report to the National Vice President of Online Advertising Sales. 

The Interactive Group (IG) of this Major Cable TV Network has over 120 million TV viewers and millions of interactive uniques a month in this music and entertainment content leader.

Other media groups within the company include: Motion Picture, Cable TV Networks, Broadcast Networks, Publishing, Radio Networks, Digital Networks, Syndication, Amusement Venues, Out of Home and other global media holdings.

The firm is known as one of the top 10 companies to work for in America and we are seeking an executive who can lead in a synergistic media environment.
 
Responsibilities
  • Enhance revenue through direct sales to national advertisers, advertising agencies and digital networks
  • Hire, mentor and manage national account executives based in New York City and other locations
  • Act as digital lead on cross platform deals with TV Network Station Groups
  • Capacity to create and or identify convergent opportunities with advertisers that capitalize on the Interactive Property and the TV Network's desirable 18-34 demographic in a music and entertainment genre
  • Interface with creative and client services teams to enhance product and channel offerings based on advertising opportunities.

    Skills Required
  • National online advertising sales and sales management experience
  • A proven capacity to enhance revenue
  • Strong experience functioning tactically and strategically
  • Experience working with other media platforms synergistically, i.e.. Network TV, Cable TV, Radio, Music, Motion Picture, Mobile or Print. 
  • Category specific strengths in any of there areas: Telecommunications; Consumer Packaged Goods; Adult Beverage, Beverage, Food, Music, Footwear, Apparel, Entertainment, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Travel and Leisure, Financial Services, Education, Government.  Most important is the ability to leverage client / agency relationships.
