- Responsible for generating Advertising Sales across the Network
- Creating greater visibility and exposure throughout the Advertising community and with national advertisers.
- This Vice President will be responsible for meeting Advertising sales budgets, and servicing multiple accounts across different business categories such as beverage, adult beverage, entertainment, telecommunications, financial services, food services and other major national advertising business sectors.
- Build and maintain strong blue-chip clients and top-tier Agency relationships who seek a youth oriented highly desirable 18-34 demographic with high disposable income.
- Integrate the Advertising Sales department with company resources to ensure maximum leverage of Network.
- Provide critical input on the development of advertising performance metrics.
Required Skills
- An excellent strategic sense with the ability to function tactically and grow an existing Ad Network.
- A sales executive who Creativity can work with Marketing to develop innovative advertising programs that enhance advertising sales.
- An entrepreneurial approach to business and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities of working in a high growth mid-size company.
- Well established contacts with both corporate accounts and Advertising Agencies.
- Extremely strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years experience in Advertising Sales with National digital / online advertising sales.
- An understanding of Out-Of-Home and Digital-Out-Of-Home National Ad Sales would be ideal to augment a track record of online advertising sales success.

Position Director Place Based Advertising Sales - Reports to Company President

Primary Function To provide sales leadership and deliver advertising sales results in order to create and sustain a profitable revenue stream for the Company. The Organization A highly respected media and advertising company that has developed innovative technology for delivering advertising, entertainment, real-time content and other information to the tenants and guests of commercial buildings and hotels. The product features state-of-the-art flat panel display units which are installed in elevators and deliver building advertising and content that provide optimum customization and flexibility to each building. The firm offers a unique approach to providing media and advertising to consumers while simultaneously providing revenue-sharing opportunities to building owners and managers. The system is fully integrated and is supported by ongoing maintenance and continuous product innovation.
The Company has a noted reputation that is built on a commitment of operational excellence, product reliability and responsive services to building owners and advertisers.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales leadership: To provide sales-related leadership across the business to insure advertising strategies are understood, successful and consistent with Company business and growth plans
- Sales planning: To create and distribute detailed advertising sales plans (local, regional and national) and manage all sales-related activities and events consistent with the approved plans
- Sales management: To recruit a sales team for ten target sites and to manage sales-related processes, functions and results across the sales team
- Project planning: To develop project plans, across all areas of responsibility, that define project requirements, major deliverables, key milestones, a timeline of events and which also accurately define and measure the tasks to be performed
- Revenue generation: To successfully sell, individually and through the team, advertising on behalf of the Company and create an ongoing, profitable, sustainable revenue stream for the firm
- Contract management: To develop and execute formal sales contracts and to manage those agreements consistent with stated terms and conditions
- Client partnerships: To establish sales and marketing partnerships with existing and prospective clients in order to enhance ad sales referrals and strengthen customer acceptance and viewer satisfaction
- Agency relations: To create and nurture relationships with ad agencies to both develop sales leads but also to spread knowledge of Company products, services and capabilities
- Community alliances: To be active in local (to Company installations) community organizations and to represent the Company in a professional and positive manner
- Documentation: To consistently document sales results, key accomplishments and critical activities
- Vendor interface: To maintain ongoing relations and to track performance results for vendors providing advertising-related services and/or products to the Company
- Customer satisfaction: To insure Company customers are fully satisfied with the products delivered and the services provided
- Problem resolution: To manage all ad sales issues and concerns to a satisfactory conclusion while overcoming unanticipated obstacles quickly, effectively and professionally
- Tracking and reporting: To collect revenue and performance data, validate ad performance, analyze results and to submit sales reports on a consistent and timely basis
- Team meetings: To regularly participate in weekly conference calls and/or meetings to manage business commitments, measure progress, overcome problems and evaluate results
- Financial management: To successfully maintain fiscal accountability, discipline and control
- Special projects: To assist, when requested, in special projects of value to the organization or of benefit to the Company
Required Skills
- Extensive advertising sales and sales management experience
