A very large litigation practice is looking for an eager, dedicated and knowledgeable Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead creating and executing practice level strategy.   With a support team of 3 Coordinators, this BDM will lead, schedule, plan, implement, manage and oversee all BD and Marketing decisions.  

You will work directly with the Associate Director of Business Development, Director of Marketing, Department Chair, Litigation Practice Director, Litigation Practice Group Leaders and other department partners and attorneys to develop business with current, prospective and targeted clients.

• 5+ years of litigation business development/marketing experience within a law firm; multi-office preferred 
• 2+ years of managerial experience 
• Exceptional listener with ability to engage and develop team unity across offices
• Strong global business awareness including business trends, political and economic factors and the impact on legal services
• Highly skilled in drafting, editing and proofreading pitch materials, responses to RFPs and other business development materials; ability to develop and write original content
