Location	Great Neck, Long Island, New York
Salary	to $60,000 w/ comprehensive benefits and bonus
The Firm	U.S. based national law firm
Duties	Great Neck, Long Island national law firm seeks a trust and estates paralegal who wants to work for a national firm in a growth oriented position. This paralegal will join a highly respected team that works with high net worth clients on Long Island A person who wants growth and stability on Long Island would be best. Preparation, service and filing of court papers for probate or administration proceedings, appointments or resignations of fiduciaries, disclaimers, and inventory, and claims against estates Preparation of Federal and New York estate and gift tax returns Preparation of beneficiary designation forms and transfer of assets from qualified retirement plans, IRAs and all types of individual account ownership forms All aspects of insurance trust administration from transfer of policies to trusts, preparation of "crummy" notices, and management of trust bank accounts for payment of premiums Preparation and review of accountings and receipts and releases. Knowledge of Medicaid, and how to prepare a Medicaid application Required Trust and Estates experience in a law firm The ability to grow in a national law firm
